The world elevator is not synonymous with bathroom

We here on the fourth floor enjoy having exclusive privileges to the elevator (that's aimed at you, third floor). Really, the only reason 4A goes to section dinners is to enjoy each other's company (minus our esteemed RA who has taken up the challenge of not taking the elevator the entire year) while testing the tensile strength of the cords in the elevator shaft while jumping up and down (don't try this at home, kids). You could even say that it's become a past time for our crazy section.

BUT, this special place of peace has been stolen from us. The following is an excerpt from an email from our grandmaster leader FP concerning said elevator:

"Because people continue to urinate in the elevator on a continual basis, here are the new hours of operation:
...
2. Shut down: 3 PM to 7 AM"

Really? Not cool. You've pretty much just sucked away the essence of all that is near and dear to the hearts of the members of 4A. We only ever use the elevator at night. Now we can't use the elevator so as to not drop our precious Kitch on the stairs (this has happened many a time and causes many issues) or to read the papers we printed off downstairs. This even has brought some bonding between 4A and the lesser known 4B due to our mutual love of the elevator, which I think is good.

To whoever has been using the elevator as a lavatory, please stop. It was funny once (not really, it smelled like crap), but now we have to get exercise by walking up four flights of stairs, and no one likes to get exercise if they're college students. Boo stairs.

Wishing you don't have achy legs,

SSD
